THE BEGINNINGS
Since 1970 Antonio Muro and his sons have created ties in an artisanal way, restoring elegance to everyday life.
In a story of passion, dedication, hand-sewn fabrics, textures and imagination, the tradition that the founder Antonio passed on to his eldest son will soon turn into the innovative research that Raffaele made flourish without ever abandoning the value of the past.
As a child raised with the myth of the tie and growing up in the family artisan factory, Raffaele Muro will soon follow his father, accompanying him on long trips to the Como area.
Kidnapped by the shops and with his eyes full of new colors, he let the passion for the art of design, printing, weaving and commerce grow within him in what it will be a real university of life for him, following his father’s lead.
HISTORY
Raffaele will soon show an innate new vision, a unique sensitivity and a deep research for good taste which, together with a daring curiosity, will be the engine of his experience, in addition to his professional growth.
Around Italy he will then begin to cultivate a dream, never stopping to test himself.
From Naples to Rome, from Bologna to Florence: it is there that his first experience at Pitti Uomo will reveal the value of the Neapolitan tie in the world. And this is how their company of handcrafted ties will be the natural response to the mission of giving back to the tie its role as a distinctive and indispensable element in classy man clothing.
